These destinations are available with Bogor Mountain Biking tours. When making a reservation, indicate which tour you might be interested in.
A. Around Bogor
A variety of beginner treks are available around the Bogor city. Depending on your interest, Biking can be coupled with factory outlet shopping or weaving in and out of hidden kampungs. Tours could be arranged to some of the tourist sites in Bogor such as the Gong Factory, Kampulampu Slice gate, and around the Bogor Palace. Bikers should be prepared to ride some of the time on the main roads. As much as possible, safer alternative routes are selected. Tours available for 2-4 hours.
B. Around Gunung Salak
A variety of beginner to extreme treks are available around Mt Salak. On these rides you will have hilltop views of Bogor, rides through tea plantations, rice fields, and pineapple fields and pine tree forests. Riding surfaces include single track, asphalt roads, and stone plantation roads. You will ride directly through villages and traditional farming where children and local villages are active in their daily routines. Climate is generally cool for early morning rides. Tours available for 2-4 hours.
C. Around Bukit Sentul
A variety of beginner to extreme treks are available around Bukit Sentul. Bukit Sentul offers good trails for family biking as well as a challenging downhill course for more experienced bikers. On these rides you pass housing estates with wide asphalt roads with limited traffic. Off- road challenging cross country routes in wooded areas available too. Tours available for 2-4 hours.
D. Around Puncak / Gn Mas
A variety of beginner to extreme treks are available around Gn Mas. On these rides you will have spectacular views of tea plantations. Riding surfaces include single track, asphalt roads, and stone plantation roads. Weather is cool and can also be rainy. Tours available for 4-6 hours.
E. Culinary Tour of Bogor by Bike
A fun outing for your extended family, office mates, or class reunion is a culinary tour of some of Bogor’s favorite traditional food vendors. With a minimum of 15 persons, we can arrange a half day ride inclusive of food tasting along the way. For the romantic minded, we can arrange a night ride progressive dinner at trendy cafes.
